As used on ATLS V10 courses, the Chest Drain and Needle Decompression trainer is the ideal simulator to deliver training in both surgical and guide-wire assisted thoracostomy and thoracentesis. The model is suitable for teaching chest tube insertions'(including the Seldinger technique through its ultrasound capability), chest drainage, and needle decompression techniques, which are taught in both foundation and advanced training curriculum.
